Ethan Schwab
Co-President
Ethan is a junior at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Aside from MERC, he has interned at Rockbridge Growth Equity and will be interning this summer at Rothschild & Co as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In his free time, Ethan enjoys running, playing poker, and cooking.
Daniel Dancuta
Co-President
Daniel is a junior studying Math. Along with MERC, Daniel is the former president of the Michigan Finance and Math Society. He worked in economic research (Bank Policy Institute) freshman summer and public equities sophomore summer (Aristides Capital). Outside of the classroom, he enjoys tennis and poker.
Robert Hwang
VP of Education
Robert is a senior at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Aside from MERC, Robert is the Co-President of Ethical Investments. Robert has interned at Stericycle as an Accounting Intern, Treehouse Foods as a Financial Services Intern, and will be interning at Harris Williams as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In his free time, Robert enjoys golfing, rock climbing, and working out.
Rian Herrmann
VP of External
Rian is a sophomore at the Ross School of Business pursuing a BBA with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Aside from MERC, where he serves as Vice President of External, Rian is a member of the Michigan Varsity Swim Team. He has gained experience in private equity at Tempus Capital in Frankfurt and in international sales with ReViSalt in Germany.
Marc Garba
VP of Research
Marc is a senior pursuing a degree in Economics. Aside from MERC, Marc is a member in Michigan Capital Management and the Economic Investments Committee. He has interned at RBC Capital Markets as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst and at Blackstone in their credit group, where he will be returning post-graduation.
Nishan Inampudi
VP of Research
Nishan is a sophomore at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance as well as a degree in electrical engineering. Aside from MERC, Nishan is a member of Michigan PEVC and New Wave Capital. This past summer, he interned at Garnett Station Partners as a summer analyst and will be interning at McKinsey’s New York Office next summer as a business analyst. Gabby Stempien
VP of Internal
Gabby is a sophomore at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Outside of MERC, Gabby is involved in the Michigan Wealth and Asset Management Club, and the business fraternity Pi Sigma Epsilon. This past summer she interned at Hantz Financial Services as a financial advising assistant. Aside from these involvements, she enjoys skiing, golfing, and boating.
Colin Geer
VP of Internal
Colin is a junior pursuing a degree in Economics with a BA Minor in Ross. Aside from MERC, I am a captain of the Varsity Men’s Swimming and Diving Team. In my free time, I enjoy golfing, surfing, and playing poker.
Maya Donnelly
VP of Recruitment
Maya is a sophomore at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Aside from MERC, Maya is a member of Michigan Short Term Trading and BlackGen Capital. In her free time, Maya enjoys traveling, cooking, and swimming!
Ryan Weinstock
Co-VP of Recruiting
Ryan is a sophomore at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Aside from MERC, Ryan is a member of the Hedge Fund Club, the Real Estate Club and Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. In his free time, Ryan enjoys skiing, golfing and DJing.
Michael Berry
VP of Finance
Michael is pursuing a degree in business administration with a concentration in finance, is a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon Business Fraternity, and is a member of the Michigan Alpine Ski and Snowboard team. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, wakeboarding, and photography
