MEET THE EXECUTIVE BOARD
Logan Zucker
Co-President
Logan is a junior at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance as well as a minor in real estate development. Aside from MERC, Logan is a member of the varsity swim team and the Athletes in Business Association. This past summer, he interned at Xceleration Partners as a summer analyst and will be interning at SMBC this summer in Capital Markets Origination. In his free time, Logan enjoys playing golf, wake surfing, climbing, cooking, and slacklining.
Ozan Kalafat
Co-President
Ozan is a junior at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration and a minor in human anatomy and physiology. Aside from MERC, Ozan is VP of Education at Apex Trading Group and a member of the varsity swim team. He has interned at Ligo Partners as a Private Credit Summer Analyst and will be interning this summer at MUFG as a Corporate and Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In his free time, Ozan enjoys playing guitar, poker, and backgammon.
Raymond Sturgill
VP of Recruitment
Raymond is a junior at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance. Aside from MERC, Raymond is a member of Ross First-Gen Network, Zell Early Stage Fund, and TEDxUofM. He has previously interned at Marriott Vacations Worldwide and will be interning at Piper Sandler as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In his free time, Raymond enjoys sports, the outdoors, and euchre.
Robert Hwang
VP of Education
Robert is a junior at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Aside from MERC, Robert is the Co-President of Ethical Investments. Robert has interned at Stericycle as an Accounting Intern, Treehouse Foods as a Financial Services Intern, and will be interning at Harris Williams as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. In his free time, Robert enjoys golfing, rock climbing, and working out.
Gabby Stempien
VP of External
Gabby is a freshman in LSA pursuing a degree in Economics. Aside from MERC, Gabby is a member of Michigan Wealth and Asset Management and Michigan Business Women. In her free time, Gabby enjoys skiing, spending time on the lake, and playing euchre.
Ethan Schwab
VP of Partnerships
Ethan is a sophomore at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in finance as well as a minor in real estate development. Outside of MERC, Ethan is part of the varsity swim team. He has previously interned at TD Cowen as a spring analyst and interned at Knapsack Holdings as an FP&A summer analyst. Beyond the classroom, Ethan enjoys fishing, wake surfing, golfing, and cooking.
Vasudha Subramanian
VP of Finance
Vasudha is a sophomore pursuing a dual degree in economics and mathematics. Aside from MERC, Vasudha is a member of Traders at Michigan and Michigan Capital Management. She has previously interned at Egnyte as a financial analyst intern, Consortium Equity Research as an Equity Research intern, and Consultant and Market Researcher at NewtonX.
Daniel Dancuta
Co-VP of Research
Daniel is a sophomore pursuing a double major in applied mathmetics and Business Administration. Along with MERC, Daniel is the Co-President of the Michigan Finance and Math Society. He has worked as an Equity Research Intern at PRSPCTV Capital, Investment Banking Intern at Progess Partners, and an Economic Research Intern at the University of Michigan. Outside of the classroom, He enjoys playing tennis and powerlifting.
Marc Garba
Co-VP of Research
Marc is a junior pursuing a degree in Economics. Aside from MERC, Marc is a member in Michigan Capital Management and the Economic Investments Committee. He has interned at RBC Capital Markets as a Sales and Trading Summer Analyst and Structured Finance Summer Analyst.
Marion Amirian
VP of Logistics
Marion is a freshman at Ross pursuing a degree in Business Administration. Aside from MERC, Marion is a member of the Chiron Healthcare Consulting Club and the Poker Club. In his free time, Marion enjoys skiing, pickleball, and tennis.
